KFC Free Chicken Fiasco
Anybody out there like KFC??
Well on 5/5/09, you were able to download a coupon for a FREE 2 pc Kentucky Grilled chicken with two sides & a biscuit from unthinKFC.com or oprah.com websites. The Coupon is valid for 1 free meal until 5/19/09 excluding Mother's Day.
This was an awesome gesture but the public response was so enormous, there were lines of cars, fighting, theft and just plain obsurd behavior that happened at KFC's all across America today.
I really don't think KFC's marketing department thought this thru effectively.
Good luck using your coupon now, I've heard that KFC ran out of chicken or refused to honor the coupons after a certain number of customers.
